Helena de Moura Castro is an Ethnographer on ICR’s Sustained Safer Behavior (Female Condom Use) in High-Risk Women to Prevent HIV and Housing Status/Stability and HIV Risk Among Drug Users
studies. She has conducted research for several ICR projects since 2002. She graduated from The University of Hartford in 2001 with degrees in Criminal Justice and Sociology, with a concentration in social inequalities. Helena’s research interests include women’s health, substance abuse, and HIV/AIDS prevention.
