| Our
Public Programming activities express the nexus of research,
social justice, education and cultural development, using a
variety of media. We bring together researchers, artists, service
providers, educators, policymakers and residents to dialogue
and examine the pressing social, economic and cultural issues
facing communities today. Whether discussing HIV/AIDS in Hartford,
or the impact of globalization in India, ICR uses Public Programming
to document, disseminate and enhance our work, and interact
and communicate with our the larger community.
Through conferences,
workshops, forums, gallery
exhibits and other events,
we disseminate our research results, build upon the theory
of our work, connect local issues with global concerns, and
provide resources to our partners and the public.
